How to add Transitions and Effects

Adding Transitions and Effects to your Windows Movie Maker project is easy. You simply open the Transition or Effect menu and make a selection.

Drag and drop the transition/effect into the designated area. These actions can only be achieved in the Storyboard view of the program.
